Fighting Pesky Cold and Flu in Children

     Hello, guys welcome back! I am not too sure about you mothers and fathers out there but I worry too often about the strength of my children's immunity.. like constantly and with everything that is going on it is something I am more invested in than myself. My children are 5 and 7 and they are actually able to go to school at the moment, having to work left little room for homeschooling or doing distance learning indefinitely.

    I love children and babies, but the biggest fight in keeping my kids healthy is combating the health of other children, I just know as soon as the teacher sends a mass direct message to all the parents about a virus of sorts going around that it is only just a matter of time before my children become apart of the illness. Reflecting on past experiences makes me grateful for anything I am doing now because daycare was a nightmare. Just imagine every child in the daycare facility with snotty noses...... 😷😷😷😷😷

How do I keep my children healthy? My absolute favorite go-to for my children is an immunity tincture that contains echinacea, ginger root, yarrow, Oregon grape root, and usnea. My children actually like it straight the way it is, but it can be mixed into drinks of all sorts, smoothies, and such. 

I also love trying new things out to see what works and does not work for my family. I recently made Fire Cider and I still have some mason jars full stored away. I  followed the directions to a T but I spiced it up and added jalapenos in a few jars. Fire Cider is another perfect concoction to have in the fight of strengthening immunity.  

Keeping my children safe is my number one priority and although I cannot control every thing I do try my best to make sure I exhaust all possibilities and in doing so gives me peace of mind. 

In my family we are obsessed with making smoothies, and as a mother it is the perfect drink to make to hide unwanted tastes, and the additives are beneficial in making my children happy and healthy. I do not always add things to their drinks, sometimes I just keep it strictly fruits and vegetable based.
