1. Urban Garden Workshop, Lotería and Spring Celebration: Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16
See the newly planted garden in Butterfly Park and explore the health benefits of a variety of plants with a garden tour led by herbalist Angela Kingsawan. The tour begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 15 at Butterfly Park, located at 1301 W. Forest Home Ave.
On Saturday, play Lotería and celebrate the arrival of spring with Kingsawan, artist Iuscely Flores, Muskego Way Forward and Versiti. The celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 at Butterfly Park, located at 1301 W. Forest Home Ave. There will be complimentary food.

2. Walnut Way Community Lunch and Learn: Friday, April 15
Learn about community resources in and around Lindsay Heights with lunch and a raffle from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 15 at Walnut Way Center, located at 2240 N. 17th St. Register here.
3. Photo with the Easter Bunny: Saturday, April 16
Take a photo with the Easter Bunny and get a complimentary brat at this “Easter Extravaganza.” The Easter Bunny is available for photos from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 3422 W. Vliet St. Tickets are $15 per child at the door.
4. Free professional headshots: Saturday, April 16
Get a free professional headshot courtesy of Blu Figs Photography. Slots are available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 at the North Shore Library, located at 6800 North Port Washington Road in Glendale. You must RSVP. To do so, click here.
5. Submit a poem for Teen Poetry Contest: until April 30
Youths ages 10 to 18 years old are invited to submit their poetry to the Milwaukee Public Library’s Teen Poetry Contest before April 30. Prizes will be distributed by age group, and participants may submit just one poem. More information here.
